Whistleblowing is the procedure aimed at encouraging whistleblowing and protecting, precisely because of its social function, both the company and the whistleblower.

The expression whistleblower refers to the person who reports, to the bodies authorised to intervene, violations that harm the public interest or the integrity of the Company, encouraging the emergence of offences.

The purpose of the report is to prevent or solve an actual or potential problem, internally and promptly: it is, in this sense, an act of manifestation of civic sense, through which the whistleblower contributes to the emergence and prevention of risks and situations detrimental to the Company and, as a consequence, to the collective public interest.
